Reading attribution
How a tracked change is tied to clicks and conversions, with confidence framing.
What attribution shows
For a tracked change, SEOMadman shows the movement in clicks and conversions around the change date, compared to your own prior history.
Confidence, not certainty
Every reading carries a confidence label. We show correlation - the change and the movement happened together - and never assert causation. A synthetic-control style comparison isolates the signal from seasonal noise where the data supports it.
How to use it
- Treat a high-confidence positive reading as evidence, not proof.
- Look for consistency across queries and pages, not a single spike.
- When history is too short to compare, the reading says so rather than inventing a number.
