Logging a change
Record a change so its impact can be measured against your own history.
Why log changes
Attribution can only measure what it knows about. Logging a change stamps it with a date so the next sync can compare before and after.
What to log
Anything that could move search performance: a title rewrite, new internal links, a content refresh, a technical fix, a migration.
How
From the Ledger, add a change with a short description and the date it went live. Changes made through a connected CMS can be logged automatically - see CMS integration.
